Don't know why it upset me so to think someone used my story... maybe because I like mine and feel I have the right to choose who sees/reads it.
As for expanding the story... I did that with another I wrote "A Time for Kindness"... expanding it into a 3 part novel. My friend and I are thinking about self-publishing it. But I don't know. Love writing them, but not sure about the publishing part.Rianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09472421271620543536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-56809880625193345952015-06-01T20:08:28.473-07:002015-06-01T20:08:28.473-07:00You have a real talent Rian! If it's yours, you ought to get credit!

Have you ever thought to expand the story line and make this story a novel? I think it would do well, you certainly me wanting to read more from the first paragraph. That's the kind of book I pick every time!Sakuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11508656442667275102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-28621267225821759482015-06-01T16:55:58.558-07:002015-06-01T16:55:58.558-07:00Oh I know, John. Even so, they should give you credit for the idea.
I don't think it's worth the hassle and legal fees to sue.
There is also the possibility that their version can stand on its own. Look at how many vampire and werewolf stories are out there. They all copy from the original story and each other.
We know that your story is your creation.
