Luckily we 're so far from the village we don't get trick or treaters at the door. I blame Spielberg's ET. Before that film the American celebration of Halloween had hardly been heard of in the UK. :-)

Glad the dermatologist has picked up the suspicious-looking moles in good time. The grand baby bat is so cute!
After some grocery shopping Lynette and I went to our favorite Chinese restaurant.
It was not too exciting but we had a peaceful good time.
In our area the kids don't knock on people's doors the way we used to do in Brooklyn. Maybe it's because the houses are too far apart. Go...I'd like a piece of that pie, thanks! :-)

Good for Jack for rallying, he's a tough one, isn't he? And I'm glad it was "only" fleas for Ghost. Though if you treated with Advantage, yes, that would cost an arm and a leg! Here in Canada it's about $15 or so before tax per small vial.

And happy Halloween. I'm the nasty middle-aged lady who does nothing and who doesn't give out candy. I did the first few years I was here, but not in a long time. I don't know what it will be like this year, but in recent past years it's probably been close to 50-50 on giving out candy versus not. I remember being surprised last year at the number of units that were dark.

I just don't get Halloween. I went out when I was young, pre-twelve, dressed as a ghost or in too-big clothes, like a tramp, and that was it. Today it's a big to do--great marketing, actually. Someone's making lots of money off the day! :-)Fuzzy Taleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09505853082591216696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-8564028624842254572013-10-31T13:49:59.072-07:002013-10-31T13:49:59.072-07:00I will go out for dinner with my son tonight.
