Enjoy them and savor the memories.

And I think the area where you live sounds wonderful. Seaside villages and towns are so picturesque. We spent a night in Berwick-on-Tweed when we were 'railing' it around Scotland. It was a quiet little place.Rianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09472421271620543536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-26680442162746842972013-06-11T06:20:22.443-07:002013-06-11T06:20:22.443-07:00Thanks, Dee. I have one from 1930's passed down from my Nana which has never been used, ever, and a couple of others from MIL and a Great aunt ...both more practical but I personally have never used them....but I cant part with them.
Thank you for your comments on my day out ...Anstruther is about 20 miles away ...takes about an hourish by bus so is easy to get to.The journey from my little town, on around the coast, passes through wonderful tiny seaside villages and towns that make up whats known as the East Neuk of Fife. If you keep going around the coast you would end up at St Andrews ....where Prince William went to university. xxAngiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12177505346903016669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-80771740639193209872013-06-10T12:02:14.528-07:002013-06-10T12:02:14.528-07:00Beautiful china. It's funny because we don't use sugar in our coffee or tea (or even ask for it in a restaurant), but DH never makes tea at home without sugar, lemon, and spearmint leaves.Rianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09472421271620543536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-75630422625913158002013-06-09T17:02:36.640-07:002013-06-09T17:02:36.640-07:00Oh, I love the beautiful china, and the cat cartoo...Oh, I love the beautiful china, and the cat cartoon. I'd never use one.

RE: sweet iced tea: In Canada, iced tea is already sweetened, whether you order it in a restaurant or buy it in a bottle. I recall the first time I ordered "ice tea" in the States, never thinking it wouldn't be sweet....gross. LOL.

Good luck keeping the water carafe intact. I know that it wouldn't stay in one piece in this house, with Nicki around. ;-pFuzzy Taleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09505853082591216696noreply@blogger.com
