How sweet that your granddaughter was explaining to you about recess. Hope she had lots of fun today. Those Effie Wilder books sound like something my sister and I both would enjoy. Can't wait to ask her if she has read them. They have perfected the art of napping. I read Wilder's first novel before giving it to my step mom who was living in a retirement home and I have another of her books "One More Time" which I haven't read yet. How good your granddaughter enjoyed her first day of kindergarten; August seems early to me for school.Terra https://www.blogger.com/profile/04396481049075747940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-34191812691955613122018-08-15T14:25:02.849-07:002018-08-15T14:25:02.849-07:00Yes, her optimism is wonderful. Just not style although she was clearly a sweet woman. Please do not totally tune out the news. That is what they want as they remove regulations that protect consumers, the environment and how they spend our tax money. Yum!

Ghost and Tux are sweet, cuddled up together there. :-)

As for the news: Every single day, every news broadcast on any station I tune into, has the latest shenanigans in US politics. I constantly wonder if Canada HAS any of its own news (slight exaggeration, but not by much).
