I raised them myself years ago (although not in the quantities you do). I even wrote an article about it in our local Audubon newsletter back in 1999. I loved raising them. They were so beautiful! We use parsley a lot in our cooking, that's why I chose it - but realize it may have to be shared.Rianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09472421271620543536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-69139885061864997182022-05-27T07:31:31.973-07:002022-05-27T07:31:31.973-07:00this is what i was looking for, i am so glad you s...this is what i was looking for, i am so glad you started your garden. it looks good. you may need extra room for that yellow squash, it gets huge. you can use a trellis, and encourage it to grow up, or perhaps you bought the "bush" type, that is suited for containers. and be careful with your dill and parsley....those are the herbs my black swallowtail butterflies are attracted to. you may pick up 2 new hobbies, growing a garden and raising butterflies. at the very least, check the herbs for caterpillars before you eat them!!!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16823369215793154260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-40783431119058806342022-05-22T08:45:34.461-07:002022-05-22T08:45:34.461-07:00No prob, Mae. I'm not into supplements much myself... but since I'm trying to figure out if there's a reason for my digestive flare-ups, I'm trying a few things out - like lactose free milk, yogurt, and bone broth. Her mother just left her on our back porch. She didn't seem to be 'all there'... Vets told us that she had genetic kidney problems and possibly diabetes and didn't think she would survive the first year (maybe her mother knew). Well, she did have some 'oddities'... and definitely kidney problems, but she survived well for 15 years (and was well loved). <br />As for the beach... Also, I clean my bottles by hand then put them in the dish washer. The Moo-topia is not an alternative as it is still whole milk, just lactose free. It does taste the same as good organic whole milk. I was washing my milk bottles and having some trouble with milk residue in one of them, and wondered if you were using yours and had the same problem. I wonder if they sell a brush for that? Anyway that's awesome news about your oldest son in Hawaii, and if you decide on an alternate milk, please let us know! I drink whole milk too, but the older I get the more I wonder if I should...🤔ApacheDughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05520433539816634566noreply@blogger.com
