I would like there to come a time when non-humans weren't considered disposable, and when people would care for them properly, but I know that won't be in my lifetime. Still, even the tiniest bit we can do to help is a step in the right direction. So thank you!

And I do hope both you and husband are feeling MUCH better soon.Keahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06809655107065918944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-91733954281549579512018-10-27T08:32:59.870-07:002018-10-27T08:32:59.870-07:00So glad ferals have a day. I had a few ferals in Florida and I had them spayed and neutered but they weren't marked by the vet.Like the idea. I think that may have been the Vermont equivalent of feral cats. Now where I live, once all farm land, it is all condo and other housing developments, box stores and fast food places. I have not head of feral cats being around. I hope they are not around because it is already freezing and it's a long winter. Barns have disappeared and it would be hard for them to find shelter.Olgahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00692441479616299920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-14830411558298074872018-10-27T03:03:31.468-07:002018-10-27T03:03:31.468-07:00someone posted on fb cutting a hole in the edge of...someone posted on fb cutting a hole in the edge of a tire and using that as homes for feral cats, waterproof, insulating, and indestructible; looked like a good idea.Linda Starrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04364078667554676592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6076673433792968099.post-53284229610129017052018-10-26T20:22:40.574-07:002018-10-26T20:22:40.574-07:00My timing is good for Feral Cats Day as I just now...My timing is good for Feral Cats Day as I just now decided to buy a heated cat house for my patio for the grey kitty who has adopted us.
