I was texting this morning with a friend that has a lot going on in her personal life these days. And we were discussing how worrying about it doesn't help... and that we need to find little things that bring us joy.
And I happened to look up at my cat calendar hanging on the wall above my desk... and smiled. Gary Patterson makes these and I find them adorable. They make me smile, so I thought I'd share a few with you.
This last one is my favorite!
I know this is a post without much content. But if it made you smile, then I'm happy.
On a more serious note, I want to share a few pics I came across of Jane Goodall:

Oh, I like that last image of her with Steve Irwin. I saw his son on a TV commercial recently, and he's the spitting image of his dad.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Dug. My eye is still a bit blurry, but it has a protective lens in that the doc will take out probably this Wednesday. My eyelid is also a little 'different'... fine with me, but he wants to watch it. (I really don't want another surgery).

Deleteher life did make a difference...i often feel like i have not done enough for others. that i am selfish with my time because there is so much i want to do...i cannot give away any of my time and miss doing something i want to do. i did charity work when i was younger but because of my health situation, i am more careful and mindful of the choices i take on. chuck and i are both caring for our mothers. his mother is 87, mine 91 and it is a full time job...neither of us have any siblings that will help us. the cat pictures made me smile!!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I understand. I think all of us feel that we should or could have done more... but as long as we do what we can for those around us, it may be enough. Mother Teresa once said, " Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love."
