Reading and binge-watching "Delicious" on Acorn TV.
I really like this streaming - as one doesn't have to wait till next week for the next episode. You just keep watching until you have to do something else... then pause it and continue where you left off at another time. Wonderful!
Heck I don't even know what streaming is; hope you have a super thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHa! Don't feel bad. Until we ditched cable, I didn't know what it was either. Now that we have Hulu, Netflix, and Acorn - I do.
DeleteI don't have Netflix or Crave (maybe Crave is just in Canada?), still have HD cable.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I could do the joys of steaming (i.e. hot milk for a latté). To go with the books in that terrific image!
I have never heard of Crave...
DeleteAnd you may have something with 'your joy of steaming' (latte')!
I've got Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, but not Acorn. I've heard great things about it, but I don't have enough time to watch all that interests me now! I understand your mindset, though. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe may have Amazon Prime (from our son), but if so, I haven't checked it out yet. Some of the English mysteries are on Netflix, but Acorn so far is my favorite.
DeleteI get the biggest kick out of my granddaughter and her Netflix...
ReplyDeleteI have to say that since we have Netflix, etc. I watch more TV... as I can just binge on the shows I like... mostly English mysteries, chefs cooking old recipes in Irish castles, and shows like Poldark, etc. where the scenery is so fantastic.
DeleteThis is all new to me also but I am glad you have the option. Half the shows people talk about I have never heard of. Enjoy all the new choices and options.
ReplyDeleteWe quit cable when it got to be just too expensive. Streaming costs less than half as much... and the ability to watch what you like when you want to is so great.
