This blog is meant to be a documentation of our journey into the world of retirement. I know the title should be "Older, but wiser". However, I really didn't know if that would be accurate. The "Older, but better...?" title could also be misleading. The 5 cats in the above pics are: Molly, Rose, Tux, Julie, and Ghost. (I have tried to make this collage smaller, but with no luck...)
Happy Valentines Day to one of my favorite bloggers and dearest online friends. PS I wish I lived closer, I'd be one of those feral critters in your backyard hoping to get a lemon square :^)
Dug, I would gladly share them with you. But you are very good in the kitchen and could easily make some. Lately I've been watching Joanna Gaines videos and trying her recipes ... which are pretty simple. The Lemon Squares came from there.
I've always liked thunder storms too, Debbie... only not when they're accompanied by tornadoes. Hurricanes never bothered me growing up in Louisiana, but tornadoes here in Texas do scare me.
Cute kitty Valentine! The memorable thunder storm came into mind the other day. I had just looked at a condo when moving into a new town, and as I was leaving, claps of thunder. I took it as a sign (who knows!) that it was a place I could happily live, and I took the contract then and there. I enjoyed living there and don't remember any more rain storms over the years.
Happy Valentine's Day to you too! Lemon squares sounds like a great thing for the day!
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty tasty!
DeleteHappy Valentines Day! Lemon squares sound lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Merry! We did enjoy them...

ReplyDeleteBarbara, I believe that we are given 'signs' throughout our lives. We don't always recognize them, but they're there.
