Happy Father's Day Dad!
My dad was born in 1907 in London, England.
Came to America with his parents through Ellis Isle in 1920.
Met my mom in New Orleans and raised a family there.
Miss you Dad!
This blog is meant to be a documentation of our journey into the world of retirement. I know the title should be "Older, but wiser". However, I really didn't know if that would be accurate. The "Older, but better...?" title could also be misleading. The 5 cats in the above pics are: Molly, Rose, Tux, Julie, and Ghost. (I have tried to make this collage smaller, but with no luck...)
Your dad was a handsome fella, Rian--this was a short but sweet tribute! I think you need to update the year he was born though. :^)
ReplyDeleteOops! Thanks, Dug... that was supposed to be 1907. Doing too many things at once, checkng my plants for water, making a pie, and trying to blog. Now I'm having 'elevensies'... which is a sit down and a cup of tea. Thanks again for noticing.
