Away from my usual blog...

I'll  be at the cove for the next few days... You are welcome to stop by. However,  if you don't find me in the cabin, Toby and I may be out roaming.  But make yourself at home, there's coffee and a few snacks, or feel free to enjoy the beach!

Leave a message in my guest book if you like...

    1. Sounds good. Come by anytime. The door is open and Toby loves company!

  2. I would love to be able to teleport (for real, not just in my mind), so I *could* spend a day, or even a few hours, in a spot like that. :-)

    1. Kim, I spent one week in Maine in 2000 and one day when I was walking on a private beach that belonged to the Audubon Society, I thought, "OMG, I'm *home*... " No place I've ever been had felt like that. It was strange.

I had hoped that possibly we could rent a place there and go there for the summers, but when DH visited there the next summer, he was not taken with it as I was. So I realized that it probably was not to be.

      So-oo I created Bailey's Cove.

    1. It's not perfect, but it serves its purpose... gets me away in my head doing the things I enjoy which are not always possible in the RW... like walking on the beach, sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean, fishing. In some ways, its a form of meditation (and it doesn't cost a cent!)
