I'm curious. For whatever reason, I no longer get comments sent to my iPhone. Previously I've always gotten notified on my email when a comment was made on my blog... then a few weeks ago, this stopped. Now I am only aware of comments if I actually go into blogger and check. Is this something new? Anyone else experiencing this?

DeleteWe are all experiencing this, Rian. We're hoping Blogger will fix it, but until then, if you use "embedded" comments form (you may already do this) and send yourself a comment when you write a post, click the "notify me" box and you will receive an email for any comments. I do it on DJan-ity when I make a new post. Hope this works for you. :-)

DeleteYes, it's a Blogger issue. I found a Blogger admin post about it, how to resolve it, tried and it seems to have worked.

BTW, I don't ever receive notification of any comments you leave, never have. There's another Blogger I have this issue with too, and I have no idea why. But generally, the "fix" might do the trick for you.

Deletewouldn't have a clue as i only check the blog for any comments, i don't have any other notifiers on.
ReplyDeleteblogger did do some updates recently maybe check the settings in case it's been turn off?
you never know (Windows does it too me every time they update, reset everything!)

DeleteYes it is annoying as can be. Mad Snapper at (https://snapperone.blogspot.com/2018/06/email-resolved-by-google-blogger.html) supposedly has the answer. I haven't tested it yet but give it a try.

DeleteMe too. Apparently it is one of the many changes that Blogger has made. Not the least bit convenient...and it feels kind of weird to have to keep checking the posts to see if there are comments.

I guess it may be part of the changes Blogger made, but can't imagine why when getting notifications only results in more use of blogger.
DeleteDear Rian, I used to get the notification as an e-mail. Now nothing. I have to go to the "Dash" to check "Comments" to see if I have any. That's the thing about technology, a person just has to keep relearning! I find it somewhat frustrating. Peace. Oh, by the way, I laughed out loud at the photo. That cat is so like Mathew with whom I live. An inveterate explorer.
