It's Autumn... actually in the 60's here this morning. Can't believe it! Thought I'd post this perfect Autumn picture of a cat in an Autumn window.... (not one of ours).
Now here are 2 of our lazy 3 staying warm by the Aga...
Don't have much to say today... which is a shame as it's a beautiful Fall day, but I'm feeling a bit melancholy and don't know why.
This next picture was taken from Pinterest and I really do like it!
and lastly
our 3 curled up together on the sofa
Thanks for dropping by.
I really hope you have a good rest of the week!
Hugs,
Rian
This time of year I often get that melancholy feeling. I think it comes with the territory. I love your pictures so much! Thanks for brightening my day. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad for brightening your day! Our cats usually brighten mine...
DeleteThey could almost be three of mine they look so similar.
ReplyDeleteI think this time of year is a funny time, days are getting shorter and not so much sunshine, like you some days I feel a bit dumpsy.

Hi Briony! Hope it's the season... I really don't like feeling like this. But thanks so much for commenting.
DeleteIt is truly autumn here with a few snow flakes amongst the falling rain. The tree in the yard across the street is midway through changing color, still more green than yellow but it's is always among the last to change. This morning we had light frost and the temperature didn't reach 50F.
ReplyDeleteAfter all the heat you've had I'm sure the 60F temperatures feel refreshing. The cats have certainly got their "easy on".
The 60F is wonderful... and they're predicting us being in the 40's for Saturday!
DeleteIt was in the low forties this morning, and will be 40 tonight, says the forecaster. But the last two days have been bright, bright sunshine.
ReplyDeleteSame here... more or less. Sunshine and cooler weather!
DeleteLovely to see your comfy cats, Rian.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deb. They are a comfortable little trio...
DeleteI marvel at how your three cats all cuddle up together. Our two never do that. Hope you manage to shake your melancholy, but it does happen from time to time. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteJenn, our cats have always cuddled up together... even when we had 8. They would line up all next to each other on the bed. Rose (who passed away a few years ago) was not as cuddly as the others (but that could be because she didn't join the house-hold till she was 7 - however, she lived here till she was 23).
DeleteThat last pic is especially sweet. A kitty pile. :-)
ReplyDeleteBoth my boys were on the bed with me last night. It's unusual for Nicki to sleep on the bed with Derry and me; maybe he was cold!
It's probably a lot colder at your place then here... but we're finally getting some relief from the heat.
Deletelovely pictures
ReplyDeletehope you're feeling better soon
thanx for sharing
Thanks for commenting, Selina.
DeleteLoved that pic of them all snuggled together on the towel. Maybe it is the shorter days kind of narrowing our world. I feel a bit of it too. Soon we will adjust.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, Patti...
DeleteRian, wonder if your bit of sadness might be due to the approachment of winter ... is approachment a word. Well, if it isn't, I just made it one. he he. I tend to get depressed around Thanksgiving and keep it til it starts getting some signs of warmer weather. There's a name for that... I don't remember what it is. On top of me not being well-versed in the english language, I also forget things. Oh dear.
ReplyDeleteI think it’s called SAD (appropriate name) for seasonal affective disorder. I have heard of it... but have never had it... that I’m aware of.
DeleteThe feeling that you have written about usually hit me shortly before Christmas. I think that it may be the time that my body is starting to miss sunshine.
ReplyDeleteI thought the picture of your two black and white kitties with all of their little mousie toys around them in front of the stove was so cute.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thanks, Susie. I made myself go out and do things today... and I do feel a bit better.
