Rabbit Rabbit! White Rabbit! |
Just wanted to say Hi on October 1st! I know that I haven't been posting much, but getting some testing done. Did the sleep clinic testing this week. Waiting on the results.
Otherwise, we are fine. Watched the debate... not going to say anything about that. Guess it was what we expected. They do have to have a better way to get the debaters to stop interrupting when it isn't their turn to talk.
Two things that were mentioned worry me, but perhaps that was what they were intended to do. One was having people "show up to watch the voters vote" (what is that about?) And the other is no promise for a peaceful transition whatever the outcome (seriously???)
That's all I have to say today. Will update you when I get my sleep testing results. Thanks for visiting. Made a killer broccoli and cauliflower casserole the other day. Delicious!

Thinking about playing around with my watercolors again soon too. We'll see...
Hugs,
Rian
The situation worldwide is not conducive to blogging is it? We're all a bit fed up with things and trying to keep cheerful but it does cheer me up to read other peoples posts and your White rabbit is lovely. He reminds me of a rabbit I had at home in the early 50's called Snowy. Snowy went missing one day and ended up in the pot, can't tell you how upset I was. But then Dad did keep rabbits for that purpose as after the war meat was still scarce.

Briony, I had a white rabbit growing up too. Her name was Mitzi.
DeleteThat's such a cute rabbit image. :-)
ReplyDeleteFingers are crossed for your test results -- it was for sleep apnea, yes? Good luck!
Yes, sleep apnea is what my doctor suspects, but apparently there are about 80 sleep disorders (who knew?). I have to say that I have never had trouble sleeping - this waking up with my heart pounding and head hurting has happened before... but not often.
DeleteAnd white rabbit to you, too. It's still the first!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joanne. Yes, it was still the first of the month and if white rabbit can bring good luck to 2020, I'm all for it...
DeleteI was glad to get the white rabbit reminder.
ReplyDeleteYes, and white rabbits are so cute...
DeleteI watched that entire train wreck of a supposed "debate." Sheesh. But now that Trump has the virus, I suspect we won't have any more of them. One can hope anyway. :-)
ReplyDeleteNot sure what will happen now... but guess we have felt this way all along.
DeleteSending my best wishes for good results on your tests. Take care and stay well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mae.
DeleteAs to the political situation, this is 2020 and anything can happen and probably will.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear from you. I've been checking to see if you had posted and was worried by not seeing any posts by you. Keep us posted.
I will keep you updated. They say the test results could take 7-10 days...
DeleteI tried to post this earlier, I was just about at the end and a notice came up of no internet, I had internet, so maybe you didn't? Anyway there was some kind of glitch. I can't remember exactly what I wrote last time.
ReplyDeleteWhen my kids were young we had a pet inside/outside big white Angora Rabbit named Harvey. He used a cat litter pan inside. He loved being outside in our fenced yard with our two dogs to protect him. Then a half grown cat started coming to visit them all. It would play with the rabbit and dogs. Then things became a little crazy. Harvey became horny for the half grown cat. The cat was having none of it, so it would not come into the yard again, but would walk along the top of the chain link fence pipe to still visit, but wouldn't get down on the ground. Harvey would come in just before dark, and then go outside to play in the daytime.
One evening Harvey was completely gone from the backyard. We hung Missing Rabbit" signs throughout the neighborhood. A few hours later the neighbor kids down the street came to the door and told us our rabbit had come to their backyard and was with their rabbit. They couldn't bring him home to us because they had gone down into their rabbit's hole that she had dug and no one could reach them.
The next day they, brought our Harvey back home to us, and he became an inside only rabbit. A while later, their white rabbit had several very furry white rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbits.
Sounds like Harvey found a friend, Susie.
DeleteOnce again I forgot to say white rabbit on the first. Not only that but some how I missed this post. Batting a thousand here. Didn't watch the debate and am I ever glad. The news coverage was more than enough. Now our president has Covid. Now who couldn't have seen that coming? Don't wish him any dangerous illness but hope he now realizes that masks aren't just to annoy him.
ReplyDeletePatti, I was at the sleep clinic the night of the debate, but did watch it the next day. As for the Covid diagnosis... don't know what to say about that... maybe something like "things coming back to bite you...?"
