Didn't want the day to go by without saying :
Happy St. Patrick's Day !
and...
I came across this when looking for a St. Patrick's Day pic in my album. I really like this saying so I thought I'd share it with you...
This blog is meant to be a documentation of our journey into the world of retirement. I know the title should be "Older, but wiser". However, I really didn't know if that would be accurate. The "Older, but better...?" title could also be misleading. The 5 cats in the above pics are: Molly, Rose, Tux, Julie, and Ghost. (I have tried to make this collage smaller, but with no luck...)
Happy St. Paddy's Day! What sweet figurines in your place setting. ☘
ReplyDeleteKim, would you like a few cheeky chickens or perhaps some other little critter? I would be happy to send you one or two if you would like to give them a home. I couldn't find an email for you... but let me know.
DeleteThank you, Rian. And I just love your little clay critters. Such a lovely gift! And thank you for the wonderful wish. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi DJan! I sent you an email today.
DeleteIt is a very good comment. Have a very good day!
ReplyDeleteGreat! And I have your address since the towels arrived... unless you move anytime soon.
DeleteRight back at ya from the half of me that is Irish. That saying is so true.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the other half, Patti? Ancestry DNA makes me 48% Ireland and Scotland and 44% England and Wales. Dad was born and raised in London until they moved to the states. But our name is O'Regan - so I'm guessing that's the 48%.
DeleteI love your pretty place setting. Hope your St. Patrick's Day was a good one. In your last post, Moose stole my heart. He is the kindest looking, most beautiful Great Dane I have ever seen. I love the pictures of him, and your pretty granddaughter. Also, your description of Tux reminds me so much of our Dumperoo. Honestly, I love Dumper to death but sometimes I feel like hiding to get a break. He is always in my lap, staring straight into my eyes, and telling me he loves me by wiping his damp little nose on my hands and arms.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Moose will steal your heart. As for your Dumperoo, I can understand. I too love Tux to death but sometimes I need a little space.
DeleteI have arrived late to the party, but enjoying it nonetheless!
ReplyDeleteAlways welcome!
