I have a dear friend who needs a miracle... someone I have known since I was 8 years old, a childhood best friend who is still very dear to me. She called yesterday in tears as her daughter who has been fighting the return of breast cancer just had bad news from her doctor. Apparently the chemo/radiation for this metastasized cancer hasn't helped. They said there was nothing more they could do.
I believe that prayer is powerful. I believe that our thoughts are powerful. And I believe in miracles. Please send her and her family your prayers and thoughts. I know that my wanting a miracle for her doesn't mean it will happen. But I would like to try... and I need your help.
Hugs, (virtual)
Rian
Don't they have certain medications to prolong life with metastatic breast cancer? I hope she can find some relief. good nutrition can really help a lot. I wish your friend's daughter well. We know a guy in a local club who was told he had one year to live, it's now ten years later so miracles do happen.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda. Miracles do happen. They are going to get back with MD Anderson and see if there are any options available...
DeleteI know how dear those long time friends are. I just prayed for her and will keep her in my prayers. I was made well twice from prayer, it does work.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patti. I do believe it can work too.
DeleteI am praying that the GREAT PHYSICIAN will put His healing hands upon her body and make it whole again. In Jesus name, Amen ❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan.
DeleteI will keep her and her family in my prayers. Blessings and Light to them. 🙏❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kim. I appreciate it so much.
DeleteThe power of good thoughts is uplifting. I'm adding mine.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joanne. It means so much...
DeleteThoughts and prayers for your friend's daughter who's obviously too young for this.
ReplyDeleteYes, Tom... it makes me realize how it must have been for my mom to have lost both my siblings when she was in her 70's. And I can't imagine how awful it is for my friend to be going through this.
DeleteI too am sending her my prayers for God's will to be done, whatever it is, and hope that she will begin to recover. Blessings, Rian.
ReplyDeleteThanks, DJan. It means a lot to know that there are people who care. You know loss and have suffered through it. Until it happens close to home, it's hard to imagine.
DeleteMy thoughts are with your friend and her daughter. May they find some peace in these difficult days.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mae. I've always believed that 'what is, is... and we can handle it'... but other's thoughts and prayers do help.
DeleteOf course! Many thoughts and prayers being sent out throughout the day.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Olga.
DeleteDear Rian, upon reading your words--as I read them one by one--I began to pray, to ask that whatever is best for your friends's daughter come to be. I, too, believe in miracles. Know that I am sending the healing white light of Oneness to surround your friend's daughter. To ooze, like honey, throughout all her pores. Peace.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dee. I keep Eliza, Donna, and yourself in my prayers too. And I send loving thoughts for healing to all those in need off and on during the day. I think our thoughts are powerful...
DeleteI believe prayer can change things, and will remember her in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Henny. I believe that too.
DeleteSending my most positive thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Linda.

ReplyDeleteShe is a dear friend and she herself lost her mother to breast cancer when we were in grammar school...
DeleteNot sure about believing in God as many see it, but I do believe in the power of prayers of good will and I sure hope we get a miracle. We are due for a few.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tabor... and I agree.
