miracle needed...

I have a dear friend  who needs a miracle... someone I have known since I was 8 years old, a childhood best friend who is still very dear to me. She called yesterday in tears as her daughter who has been fighting the return of breast cancer just had bad news from her doctor. Apparently the chemo/radiation for this metastasized cancer hasn't helped. They said there was nothing more they could do.

I believe that prayer is powerful. I believe that our thoughts are powerful. And I believe in miracles.  Please send her and her family your prayers and thoughts. I know that my wanting a miracle for her doesn't mean it will happen. But I would like to try... and I need your help.

Hugs, (virtual)

  1. Don't they have certain medications to prolong life with metastatic breast cancer? I hope she can find some relief. good nutrition can really help a lot. I wish your friend's daughter well. We know a guy in a local club who was told he had one year to live, it's now ten years later so miracles do happen.

    1. Yes, Tom... it makes me realize how it must have been for my mom to have lost both my siblings when she was in her 70's. And I can't imagine how awful it is for my friend to be going through this.

    1. Thanks, DJan. It means a lot to know that there are people who care. You know loss and have suffered through it. Until it happens close to home, it's hard to imagine.

    1. Thanks, Mae. I've always believed that 'what is, is... and we can handle it'... but other's thoughts and prayers do help.

  10. Dear Rian, upon reading your words--as I read them one by one--I began to pray, to ask that whatever is best for your friends's daughter come to be. I, too, believe in miracles. Know that I am sending the healing white light of Oneness to surround your friend's daughter. To ooze, like honey, throughout all her pores. Peace.

  14. Not sure about believing in God as many see it, but I do believe in the power of prayers of good will and I sure hope we get a miracle. We are due for a few.
