Give me a garden...

A very long time ago I used to write poems... mostly haiku... of some sort. Anyway, I came across this picture the other day and it reminded me of one of my poems. Sharing it with you just for the peace of it...

"Give me a garden
and a cat
Beauty and
quiet contemplation

Add a favorite book
and a cup of tea

These are the
wonders of the world
... to me"

Hugs,
Rian

  1. beatiful, thank you, I am feeling so grateful that I live in a house and not an apartment; I can't imagine how folks are dealing with staying in without a garden to enjoy. Be well.

    1. True, Linda. All people should have access to nature... it restores the soul.

    1. So much to be grateful for... these days... every new day. And my imagination is good. I can imagine each of us sitting together in that garden having tea (and Tux and Julie would be there too).
