A very long time ago I used to write poems... mostly haiku... of some sort. Anyway, I came across this picture the other day and it reminded me of one of my poems. Sharing it with you just for the peace of it...
"Give me a garden
and a cat
Beauty and
quiet contemplation
Add a favorite book
and a cup of tea
These are the
wonders of the world
... to me"
Hugs,
Rian
beatiful, thank you, I am feeling so grateful that I live in a house and not an apartment; I can't imagine how folks are dealing with staying in without a garden to enjoy. Be well.
ReplyDeleteTrue, Linda. All people should have access to nature... it restores the soul.
DeleteI think I might have misspelled beautiful
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. Thank you so much for sharing this picture and poem, Rian. Please stay safe as we look for places in our daily lives to be grateful for. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo much to be grateful for... these days... every new day. And my imagination is good. I can imagine each of us sitting together in that garden having tea (and Tux and Julie would be there too).
DeleteThat suits me also. keep safe.
