This blog is meant to be a documentation of our journey into the world of retirement. I know the title should be "Older, but wiser". However, I really didn't know if that would be accurate. The "Older, but better...?" title could also be misleading. The 5 cats in the above pics are: Molly, Rose, Tux, Julie, and Ghost. (I have tried to make this collage smaller, but with no luck...)
Oh my gosh! Great finds. Lots of fun & imagination. Now #10 has me stumped. I'll have to get back on guessing.
ReplyDeletePs...I will get your link up now.
Thanks, Anni.
DeletePs...check out the link on the scavenger hunt post...it's been added
ReplyDeleteOK
DeleteOk...#10. I'm guessing an air horn (like those used by sports fans)
ReplyDeleteI hope you tell us at the end (on the 15th)
Will do...
DeleteI really like your blog header with all those cats! Is the grey cat named Ghost?
ReplyDeleteYou sure found a lot of interesting items.
I followed your lovely blog, and want to invite you to follow my blog as well, if you'd like.
This is a fun game. Certianly would keep me busy. I have no idea where I would get a glass cat!
ReplyDeleteThat glass cat used to belong to my Mother-in-law. She passed about 3 years ago at 98 and anything related to cats, she held for us (she loved cats too)... so it went into my China cabinet.
Deletelove love the stove and the object hummmm a horn? a grinder of something?
ReplyDeleteThanks! We love our AGA too. As for the other, guess you must wait until the 15th...
DeleteLove the art with human. I have a can with an airhorn on top that looks like that.
ReplyDeleteDo you now?
DeleteHi, great scavenger finds. Your AGA is amazing. Don't know what #10 is. Is it a pill dispenser?
ReplyDeleteNot sure why I should wait to tell you all that my mystery object (the red thing) is the top of an air horn. We keep it in the kitchen and use it to scare the coyotes away (had to use it just Wednesday morning when a huge one jumped the fence and was in our backyard). Anyway, some of you had already guessed.
DeleteThis is so much fun and Rian you've got some great items.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh the glass kitty...and the macro is it an air horn?
