I'm a day late posting this... but yesterday got away from me.
However, I was reading sayings Friday night... looking for something that might lift my spirits. Saw this poster and thought, Yes!! We will not go down without a fight. I will follow the CDC's guidelines and when there's no more I can do, then I'll...
Then I read this...
and thought...
So, Thank you! Thank all of you for being there. Thank you for reading my rambling thoughts. We are all in this together and together we'll handle it. My old standby for when things were difficult. "It is what it is, and I can handle it" is still good.
Take care, my dear friends, and have a good weekend... you've got this.
Hugs,
Rian
thank you...and today, i choose to be happy!!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice!
DeleteI am even more thankful than I usually am; I know there are many folks who will have to start over and it breaks my heart.
ReplyDeleteLinda, we don't know what the future holds (guess that's the scary part)...
DeleteI tend to whisper a thank you each morning upon awakening and before I doze of at nighloving the ten on doing well in life!
ReplyDeleteEven if a lot of things are out of our control, we still have some choices - like following the CDC guidelines and being thankful.
DeleteI am finding great comfort in things people post, and humor. If you can't laugh, then you cry so I choose to laugh.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteI especially like the ten signs. So many of us are more fortunate than we realize as we tend to take certain aspects of our life for granted. This pandemic has definitely highlighted those aspects.
ReplyDeleteTake care and stay well!
Food, water, TP... who would have thought???
DeleteAnother very uplifting post. I know we will get through this, and my dear blogging family helps me every single day. Thank you for this, Rian. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for being there, DJan...
DeleteThank you, Rian. And I do like your very first poster. This is not how the story will end.
ReplyDeleteNo, this is not how the story is going to end. People will help each other get through this.
DeleteThank you for the inspiration. We need that, and positivity, now more than ever. Hugs! ❤️🙏
ReplyDeleteIt's all so strange... knowing that the world is going through this together... everyone.
DeleteAnd yes, we need to be positive, encourage each other, pray, send good thoughts. I've always believed that prayer and thoughts were powerful - universal prayer should be even more so!
Yes we do need to be thankful. When I see the horrid lines at food banks across the county and am still able to great each day, I really do need to say "thank you."
ReplyDeleteYes, Patti, thankful, grateful, appreciative of what we have... each day.
