Chicken Tetrazinni... step by step

 Made Chicken Tetrazinni yesterday...

Prepping for Chicken Tetrazinni

I usually get all my ingredients and equipment out and ready first

Then:

Boil pasta

Melt butter, whisk in flour, gradually add in milk and wine
Cook until thick and bubbly (about 10mins)

Wisk in bouillon granules and pepper

add Parmesan cheese and remove from heat
Add cooked chicken and hot cooked pasta

As you can see I'm making this all on the hotplate
and will be baking it in the toaster oven air fryer...

Pour all into a greased baking dish, sprinkle with more parmesan cheese and a little triple cheddar and fresh ground black pepper!
(usually makes 2 square 8x8 dishes)
Can also add toasted almonds on top or
crumbled bacon!

ready to bake

baking in toaster oven air fryer

Just needs to bake about 20-30 minutes at 350 F to firm up
and then can be cut into squares to serve.

Actual recipe ingredients here:

8oz pasta
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup AP flour
4 cups milk
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 Tbsp chicken bouillon granules
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 cups Parmesan Cheese
(divided use: 1 cup in sauce and 1 cup on top at end)
3-4 cups cooked chicken chopped

This is one of our favorite recipes!

Have a great weekend!

    1. Dug, this is what I do on a cold rainy day when not sitting by the fireplace with a book... think of something to cook that I haven't made in a while.

    1. It's a pretty easy recipe, Tabor, and you can add to it if you want to... like some sauteed chopped onions or peas, etc. I usually serve it with a salad or corn on the cob.

    1. It's a pretty simple recipe, but good if you like pasta (and a little wine).

it looks like you are adjusting well to cooking without your stove/oven!!

i like the look of your pots and pans hanging over the counter. mine are all tucked away!!

    1. Yes, my pots and pans are all right there... probably gives my kitchen a cluttered look, but I like everything there at my fingertips.
