Just some favorite pics and posters...
(some I may have sent before)
and
I know I posted this last one recently, but with the times being what they are...
this one is my all time favorite!

DH and I have been doing wordle. It's something we can both do and compare our results. Takes so little time, but does make us laugh on occasion... with an "I beat you, got it on 3!"... or "What! I never heard of that word!"

Youngest granddaughter is in the hill country visiting my daughter and her family for Spring Break. They just sent me some pics. Had to share them with you...
Wishing you all a Happy Spring!
I am really enjoying Wordle, too. My favorite comment is, well I never heard of that word before. My husband's cousin got me hooked on quordle, too. It is FOUR words. Thank goodness you can only play them once a day.
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me when I come across a word I've never heard of... guess by my age, I think I must have heard them all. And yes, once a day is enough.
DeleteLovely pictures! I adore Wordle! I felt proud of getting it in three this morning! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jenn. We enjoy Wordle too. Haven't done it yet today.
DeleteRian, sometimes your blogs whisk down my computer screen like a spring breeze. I don't mean to sound wishy-washy, but it is what it is. I loved that one black & white cat meme, and enjoyed the pics of your beautiful granddaughters with that big dog and horse!
ReplyDeleteThe hill country is so pretty in the spring. I love visiting there... and seeing my kids and grandkids. We used to go every Spring, but that darn Covid has kept us home these last 2 years. I dare to hope that perhaps by this summer things will be better.
DeleteGreat quotes, Rian, all of them, especially at this time of domestic and international unrest and strife.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried Wordle yet, but I know it's extremely popular. Have fun and take care!
You can try Wordle any time... just type in nytwordle... and it will pop up!
DeleteJust might have to try Wordle. Loved seeing Moose again. Your granddaughter could almost ride him.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with Charlie Brown.
Yes, I agree with Charlie Brown too!
DeleteThe youngest granddaughter appears to be having a lot of fun. Good for her!
ReplyDeleteCharlie Brown often says it best.
Yes, youngest granddaughter may not want to leave...
DeleteBeautiful post and a wonderful spring break -- such good memories in the making.
ReplyDeleteI was 9 when I started spending summers in the country with my aunt... great memories.
DeleteI love your reminders to take care of my mental health, and I too love the pictures. You made my day. That, and I'll work the Wordle for grins. :-)
ReplyDeleteI just did Wordle... got it in 5 (not too bad). Enjoy!
DeleteNice photos, esp. of granddaughter and Moose (I, uh, am more of a dog person than cat person).
ReplyDeleteNo problem, Tom, I'm fond on them all... although cats have been in our lives more. I did have an Irish Setter that was very dear to me years ago. And I'd love to have a yellow lab one day, but DH is not much of a dog person.
Deletei thought i left a comment here, granddaughters are adorable!!
ReplyDeleteThey are both very sweet. But now that oldest is in college, we don't see her as much. I do miss that. But luckily youngest goes to school close to us, so we get to pick her up fairly often.
